Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Tradeventure (“Tradeventure”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), accessible at tradeventure.app. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Tradeventure.

1. Service description

Tradeventure is a software-as-a-service trading journal with AI-powered coaching, discipline tracking, automated trade import from supported broker platforms, and prop-firm challenge management. It is designed as an educational and self-improvement tool for retail traders.

Tradeventure is not a broker, financial advisor, investment firm, money manager, or financial services platform. We do not execute trades, hold funds, or route orders. We do not provide personalized investment advice.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use Tradeventure. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

One account per person. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for any activity that occurs under your account. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter — trade details, journal entries, rules, and settings. We do not verify trade data against broker statements.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise automate access to the service without our written permission
• Resell, sublicense, or share access to your Tradeventure account with third parties
• Attempt to access other users' data, reverse-engineer, decompile, or disrupt the service
• Abuse the AI Coach with automated or high-volume requests that exceed normal interactive use
• Use Tradeventure to store or transmit illegal content, or to conduct any illegal activity

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice, depending on the severity.

4. AI Coach & AI-generated content

When you use the AI Coach, relevant trading data (statistics, recent trades, journal context) is transmitted to Anthropic for processing. See our Privacy Policy for details on AI data handling.

5. No guarantee of trading profits

Tradeventure is a journaling and discipline tool, not a signals service. Past performance, metrics, streaks, or AI-generated content shown in the app do not indicate future results. Trading financial instruments carries significant risk of loss, including loss of principal. You are solely responsible for any trades you place, and you trade at your own risk.

We do not provide trading signals, strategy recommendations, investment advice, or guidance on specific instruments or positions.

6. Intellectual property

Tradeventure and its operator retain all rights, title, and interest in the platform, including the code, design, brand, Companion visualization, AI Coach system prompt, and trademarks (“Tradeventure™”). These Terms do not grant you any license to our intellectual property beyond the limited right to use the service.

Your data belongs to you. Trades, journal entries, rules, folder configurations, and any other content you create remain your property. You grant us only the technical license needed to store, process, and display that data inside the service on your behalf.

7. Data ownership & portability

You can export your trading data and journal entries at any time. You can delete your account and associated data at any time by contacting support@tradeventure.app. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling and your GDPR rights.

8. Subscriptions & payment

AppSumo lifetime deals:If you purchased a lifetime license via AppSumo, your access is governed by AppSumo's marketplace terms and their platform handles the payment. Lifetime tiers are one-time purchases.

Direct subscriptions: Monthly and annual subscriptions are processed by Stripe, Inc. acting as Merchant of Record. Stripe collects and processes payment information directly; Tradeventure never stores full card details. VAT and sales tax are collected by Stripe where applicable based on your location. Current pricing is $23 per month or $199 per year. Prices may change in the future; existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days in advance of any material change affecting their renewal.

9. Refund policy

AppSumo purchases: AppSumo offers a 60-day refund window per their marketplace policy. Refund requests for AppSumo purchases must be submitted through AppSumo, not Tradeventure.

Direct subscriptions: You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain access until then. We do not offer partial refunds for the current billing period.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Tradeventure, its operator, and its sub-processors from and against any claim, demand, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of: (a) your use of the service, (b) any trading activity you conduct based on information shown inside Tradeventure, (c) your violation of these Terms, or (d) your violation of any law or third-party right.

11. Limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tradeventure and its operator are not liable for: trading losses, lost profits, data loss beyond reasonable backups, errors in AI-generated content, downtime, or any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any and all claims is limited to the total amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@tradeventure.app. Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days unless you request an earlier export.

We may terminate or suspend your account for material breach of these Terms, abuse of the service, illegal activity, or non-payment. Where reasonably possible we will give notice and an opportunity to cure before termination.

13. Dispute resolution

If a dispute arises between you and Tradeventure, both parties agree to first attempt informal resolution via email ( support@tradeventure.app ) within 30 days of the dispute arising.

If the dispute remains unresolved after this period, the parties agree to attempt mediation in Prague, Czech Republic. If mediation fails, any remaining dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Czech Republic.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Czech Republic, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will notify registered users by email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the service after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the service and may request account deletion.
